Not long ago, a neighbour of mine who is an RIBA registered architect here in the UK, challenged me to see if I could help his business.
He knows I work a lot in the tech space, but he said,
"Could you help an architectural practice?".
He'd spent thousands, tens of thousands of pounds over the years with lead generation companies, digital marketing agencies, website companies, PR agencies—you probably relate to some of this—and he literally had very little to show for it.
I said... "Yeah I can help, marketing is marketing.

So, he took me up on the challenge.
I went down to his house. We sat down for a couple of hours one evening.
We designed a marketing campaign for a specific service that he wanted to focus on, which was planning applications because he had a lot of experience and specialisation in that area.
We created an ad on Facebook, I built a new and very specific (this is key) landing page on my marketing software, we published everything and I went home.
The next morning, he was on the phone at eight o'clock saying...
"I don't believe it! I've got sales enquiries already in my inbox and it's less than 12 hours since we went live!"
HERE'S THE GOOD NEWS...
BUT...
I wanted to prove that this wasn't a fluke, I wanted to prove I could do this from scratch and that any architect could do this and get the same results.
So...
I created a brand-new domain name, a brand-new website and a brand-new Facebook advertising account.
I did everything from scratch just to prove that anybody (because I'm not an architect) could create leads for an architectural practice... AND IT WORKED!
